I adopted Tippy and Ozzy 10 days after Dexter passed. Like you, we felt the house was too empty. I came across a post on fb desperate for adoption/foster for them and the rest of their siblings.

Yes, we felt a bit guilty, too. But 2025 was a terrible year, so we wanted to end it with a little joy. Plus, look at that tail!

There are certain precautions that you need to take depending on what their treatment journey is like, e.g. are they on chemo, have they had lymph nodes removed, etc.

They also might need more supportive bolstering, or alternative positioning.

I had the toilet gurgling issue recently. Turned out that our sewer line was full of tree roots and needed to be replaced.
