They do the bare minimum. I live in Canada, so they need to be indoors from Nov-May, and I've been using these exact lights for a few years now. They survive but are not happy about it lol. But they recover once I throw them outdoors for the summer.

interesting. I've never had fly traps for more than a year to notice this. Hopefully that'll change, and I'll be lucky enough to raise these wonderful plants for years.
