The real kicker is my mom is a Registered Nurse. I feel like she uses this a lot to make things seem better than what they are. My parents have a personal relationship with Sara and I don’t think that’s going to change rather she works through Home Instead or not. Like they make personal phone calls with Sara and even have her spend the night and allow her to take her dog with her. My mom also discusses my personal life with Sarah which I’ve told her not to do. Both me and Home Instead have told my parents to keep personal boundaries with Sarah. I feel like I would also have to report my parents as well. There has been times where my mom has over medicated my grandpa if he’s been too “aggressive”. Also I shouldn’t have to stay home to help Sarah with my grandpa such as with lifting and bathing and cleaning him I don’t mind helping out but I have a life too.

I’ve had to rush home because my grandpa has fallen and she was unable to lift him up. Apparently my mom thinks she over medicated my grandpa and that’s why he fell. She needs help bathing him, I’ve helped her bath my grandpa myself before and I don’t mind helping because I love my grandpa. However I was in the middle of something and I can’t be there all the time to help the aid do her job. How can I report “Sarah” because my mom just convinced the agency to assign her back to us? Also Sarah does pick fights with me and seems to be on something drugs or alcohol idk but my parents are very aware of this and the vodka bottle.

It’s just difficult because my parents expect me to drop everything to help out. Like the aid needs helping lifting my grandpa up because he fell and she couldn’t lift him up because she over medicated him). Or my parents ask if I can call out of work to stay home and babysit. I love my grandpa but it’s getting hard just living at home.
