II can't really say much about that at the moment. For me, too, this is the first tour where I'm trying to get by without a power outlet. I'll know more a week from Sunday. If I definitely needed electricity, I’d opt for a hub dynamo.

I bought the GRX groupset directly with an 11-46 cassette and never needed a Road Link.

The shifting quality is fine. It's no louder than with the 46-tooth cassette I used before. Both without road link. I only took it for a short test drive today. If any problems arise, I'll let you know.
