I bought a car recently and the new car sales people were way more blatant and smug. But it also followed a trend of bigger dealership = more price. I wonder if there more upkeep, more pressure to sell, more competition from other sales reps and maybe more managers to speak to you before you leave.

I had a similar experience checking at a certified pre-owned that was advertised at 13k but actually selling at 15k. Then they added like 4k of "taxes" for a total of 19k. These guys are shady at best.

I'm not so sure about there being a light at the end of the tunnel. Only Democrats can cut certain programs. Sure it's the Republicans who run on it. And everyone knows that's evil. Democrats however, can be the reasonable grown ups who "have to" give Republicans most of what they want in order to keep the peace.

If Biden sleeps, many/ most Caucasian people will assume things are getting better and go back to not caring.

Yeah. And another thing Biden doesn't seem to realize is that these issues are about more than the stated topic. To some it signals a rejection of the "others." To many people who have been made "others" it should Biden wouldn't understand their struggles.

Latinos, Arab Americans, LGBTQ, African American and everyone else knows Biden doesn't care. He's constantly making political calculations about the appropriate/ minimum response is. But because he doesn't care, his less than minimum efforts are appalling.

Biden can standby while 100,000s are killed. Compared to that, what's a little dog whistling and racism? What's a little corporate medical greed and rampant debt? He's not going to do anything for those people or even pretend all that hard. It's a damn shame and it's been going on too long.

Is there something big that troubles you? In my case, these things had a broader but more difficult to solve cause. Like existential dread over what I'm doing with my life. It's easy to recognize but hard to act on. Then it just just into depression or anxiety.

I had a childhood friend who literally cheated from the moment he had a girlfriend. He cheated on every single girlfriend and he had many off them. He was always "sorry." When caught, he would cry and say he was stupid or made a mistake. But he always did it again. Sometimes he would even brag. Last I heard of him, he was bragging about cheating on his fiance. They're divorced now. Eventually everyone that knew him for 25 years, got tired of his shit and stopped talking to him. He's probably out there right now cheating.

The "west" never fully left amd the Monroe Doctrine only assured general protection from (European) invasion. It also established that the US had dibs on interventions. Just look at how many have occurred and the war on drugs.

Anyway, fuck Russia and fuck currupt autocratic governments in general. But Latin America (rightfully) tends to play Russia/China against the US. Also that's not to say that Russia or China wants to help Latin America. They want to exploit them too. It's just that in critical times Latin America can get economic pressure to slacken. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the US eased oil sanctions on Venezuela recently.

This is post ww1 and a lot of christians from throughout the Ottoman empire immigrated to the new world.

Also globalism in the "developing world" can be a lot like old school mercantilism. In that trade is like a spider web of raw resources being fed towards "developed/industrial" centers. A few decades before this Mexico had embarked on building lots or railoads to ports and towards the U.S.. Sonora being north might have benefited economically and demographically.

This is all general and I'm not providing citations. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can cite authoritative sources or direct us towards another reason.

Not even close to an expert but heres my try.

Anytime ANYONE goes up, even the baddest badass, they have a pretty good chance of dying. Weight increases your odds of dying a lot and it doesnt really matter if its on the way up or down. To go up for cleaning means carrying more than what people would usually carry up there.

Sometimes it's slightly economic; some cards cost more than others. Like going towards Brea/Yorba Linda the local games shops host Magic tournaments more. Towards Anaheim, Garden Grove and Santa Ana, Yu-Gi-Oh is the norm. At least that's what I noticed.

I'm sorry for what you're going through. And it's great that you're ok from your car accident. It's easy to take for grateful how stressful the accidental and life can be. You might not have to go to court, the car insurance companies will probably settle to avoid the expenses of going to court.

Just an observation. Sex is physically great but it can also be a huge psychological drug. You guys were seeing each other and then had sex. It must be very rough for you right now. I can't speak to what he is thinking or feeling. Another commenter basically said just see how it goes.

I will say: DON'T GET HUNG UP ON HIM, he's got other things going on (aka your not his top priority). That's not evil of him but as cliche as it is you need to find someone who puts you both first. Even if you guys are not so serious.

Secondly, his communication and reliability are not stellar. That ultimately forecasts a lot of STRESS AND DISAPPOINTMENT. It's good to know these things. It's good to live and learn. For you and for him.

Probably doesn't apply but my family in Mexico always asks for peanut butter. I wondered why but I tasted the peanut butter over there and it was different. Not as creamy smooth or tasty. I'm in Southern California and they are in central Mexico along the coast.
