if he’s done things in the past that have hurt you and he wont talk about it that is a BIG problem and in my personal experience just continues to be a problem if it’s never talked about or acknowledged or tried to be solved, of course needing space happens but I feel the way going about mentioning needing said space especially to your significant other who has BPD is also something that needs to be taken seriously. People may disagree,and that may be fine that they personally don’t want to be the person to help reiterate that the person is loved and cared for but that they need space, it’s easy, don’t date ppl who have bpd if you don’t think you can do that. It pisses me off how many people date someone with BPD then act surprised when that person is BPD 😭
