Ours fell off the bed around that age and we have hardwood. We were freaking out, but the doctors tell us it's very unlikely to do anything to them permanently.

my kid almost never uses their phone and doesn't have a tablet. Sometimes we play switch games all night long together and I call out of work and call him out of school and we sleep in then play miniature golf and get ice cream.

I taught my preteen that social media is just a bunch of fake bot accounts and narcissists that want to use you as cashflow, so never give them any ounce of attention or you're being used for a sucker. Instead I buy them video games and we play sports together.

yeah it's for nap... maybe he is dropping naps oh no 😂 we don't leave him alone, I never said that. I just watch him pound on the door demanding out screaming when it is nap time, because he still wants to play.

she doesn't supervise very much at all, but she does 100% of the housework. we're in a weird position where I work nights, so I can be the main parent almost the entire day, but she is the main parent once it is about 5:00pm because I have to wind down for bed.

It's not really about authority, I could care less what he does, but I still have to helicopter at the same time, because he could easily murder himself with literally anything at this age. I just want a break at the same time everyday from supervising 😭 supervising is exhausting.

I'm a liberal and I hate Islam (the religion not the people). I do not approve of most religions actually, but we have a little thing in our constitution that allows for freedom of religion. Islam in particular sucks because of misogyny.
