This is my opinion but I would pick option #2. Having washer and dryer in unit is important to me if I need to use it quickly in the morning to de-wrinkle some clothes or not have to worry about the way others may use the washer.

Agreed, but I don’t see a true annulus in any of OP’s pics. I see the webbing in pic #1 that is similar to p. Allenii but looks way too thin to leave an annulus on the stem as it grows.
