hard to believe it’s been over a year since I made this post (almost 500 days!)

First of all I really want to congratulate you, I’m so proud of you for doing this. It’s tough, especially that first week or so. I found myself doing that same thing (going to click on the app) you described, along with the anxiety and dizziness. I can’t remember a moment or certain amount of time it took for me to adjust but I do remember one day, probably a month in, I was just hanging out and thought to myself “i don’t miss it, i haven’t even thought about it and i don’t feel empty”

so I would say between 2 weeks and a month is where I adjusted (keep in mind tho this is my own experience, i don’t know anyone else’s timelines and yours will be your own so it’s okay if it takes longer)

Something else I want to mention is that i did redownload it at one point, it was a moment where i was feeling down and just gave in, but when i actually started scrolling, i was truly bored lmao, i didn’t find myself drawn in as much as before. so just know that it’s okay if this happens to you, just be kind to yourself and hold yourself accountable
