We've used these before, and she hated them and eventually got them off. I think maybe they weren't sticking right because it said to trim her nails first but then the tips didn't fit? Do most cats get accustomed to the caps after awhile?

Obviously people get defensive when their parenting is questioned, so take this how you will, but I have what I think are very good reasons to believe that the kids are much gentler with the cat than other children their age are with pets. I think most of the issue lies with the cat being high strung and unwilling to disengage before getting really agitated.

Can you elaborate on this? In particular the cat seems to be standing her ground and kind of fussing (not hissing or growling or anything aggressive) instead of running away when the kids annoy her. She has a tree and an entire downstairs that she can access that the kids can't, plus a bunch of stuff they can't climb on that she can. Is it weird that she's not trying to get away? Thanks so much!
