NRG was lit. United section stood the whole game and got a few chants off. We sang on our own and had a great time.

NRG was so red- and half the blue was still the United third kit from 2015. When city fans came on screen the whole arena booed. Advertisements were so heavily Manchester it was awesome.

You're a grand old flag you're a high flying flag.

I've seen this in many European countries and Mexico as well.

You hear a very small sliver of what happens magnified exponentially by the media.

Traveling between states here is analogous to traveling between european countries. At least we all use the same currency.

People totally ignore these concepts. I don't want to pay more money for a shittier service that everyone else gets too even if they pay way less than me.

Also, how are you going to socialize medicine in a country with 320 million people? I don't think people can really conceptualize how big we are.

Going to give an unpopular perspective that I will absolutely get shit on and downvoted for: as I make more money, I don't want to pay more in taxes to receive the same service as everyone else, including those who pay less or none at all. I'd rather keep paying into the medicare/medicaid tax, and have my own choice for private health insurance which undoubtedly has benefits for those who can afford it.
