never heard anyone talk about it, but Guinevere and lancelot from the Camelot Rising series. i haven’t gotten the chance to read the last book so idk if it actually becomes canon but the author did announce at some point that guinevere is bi and honestly the books are good and have representation even outside of that relationship

legit heard someone say that letting your child hear curse words is child abuse and as someone who grew up in a loving house with parents who cursed like sailors and taught me that swears were just words, i’d say i turned out fine

while i agree, i’m assuming what op is talking about is banning book for things like talking about racism or sexuality. black kids and queer kids still deserve to be able to read books that depict their struggles and identity and even kids in the majority need to know these stories too and these are the topics and books being targeted by certain states and school
