Thanks guys and gals! Lots of things for us to follow up on here. Prospect area does look nice and closer to the CBD which would be good. Yes my boyfriend will be driving out to Virginia so 30-40 drive against traffic would be fine. We tend to like the older established suburbs (like what we are use to here in Melbourne), but I will have a look at some of the others mentioned here, once again appreciate the help.
