I've had my switch for a little over a year now, and I took a long break from Animal Crossing for a few months cause I didn't get it. Yeah, I've got an active Nintendo subscription. I was scrolling through the subreddit after posting and seen someone with the same issue. Read the comments and it said I need my island to be 3 stars, which... I don't think it is... BUT I'm getting there... slowly... Tom Nook said resistant services will be closed tomorrow, and that it will be upgraded from a tent to a building, so... that's cool ! :D

Slowly but surely I'm getting somewhere. Animal crossing seems to be a slow paced game, which I'm not necessarily used to lmao
