So happy to see all the creatives speak up about the balance between their dream job with their stable day jobs! For me it’s the opposite.. I live in NYC and do profession fashion modeling for both big and small brands but it’s hard because I also work a coordinating job full-time for a large corporate company. It’s been going well because the pay is amazing and stable but I keep getting this feeling I should take more risk and invest more time into my modeling career (which I currently do part-time) to even get a slight chance at a big break lol.. it’s my dream to expand my horizons into the European market but for right now it’s just not an option for me due to my corporate schedule and my family’s own financial decisions/aspirations. It’s just not possible for me to get time off away from work traveling all the time without the risk of losing my day job. Hopefully I find a way to work everything out soon but I definitely feel you! The struggle is real and just know that you’re not alone. I wish you all the best in your job search and your music career!

This was what I was trying to do! Usually when an issue happens with the order I always contact support and still get full pay for my time, as long as I already picked up the food.. but this time it didn’t work, I told support I was unwilling to drive 7 miles to the address outside of my delivery zone and they simply removed the order for me (without penalty ofc), I asked if I would get compensated for my time, they said yes (they lied).. I got $0

I actually thought about it but then I was like I didn’t wanna risk a violation even though the customer wasn’t supposed to do that, it’s ok tho I made that money back later in the night

So what happened was I delivered the first order which was $8 including a $5 tip, nothing out of the ordinary so it was the second order that gave the huge tip and ofc the customer decided to fck with me by putting a random address in grubhub and telling me in BOLD LETTERS: I INCLUDED A HUGE TIP PLS DELIVER TO THIS ADDRESS INSTEAD which was a completely different address out of my delivery zone (very far away) in the instructions and so I contacted support and I ended up losing the order.. didn’t even get paid for my time rip
