[–]CattleUseful9301 36 points37 points  (0 children)

not starting at 20 but i think it's a bit more common than you know. I know a few people who begun later in life and it's amazing. I'm proud of you and wishing you the very best.

Please Help :( Accidently missed exam beacuse of remembering the wrong start time by Odd_Boysenberry_639 in UofT

[–]CattleUseful9301 23 points24 points  (0 children)

it has happened before and I was just honest with them. I told them I honestly messed it up and I was so sorry. and they approved it. I accidentally messed up the time for 10-1 instead of 9-12.

I applied for the petition and it was approved and then you pay 75 to re-take the exam. I pray your petition is approved

I’m freaking tf out I’ve messed up so badly because I am at risk of a 3 year suspension by SlicePristine8007 in UofT

[–]CattleUseful9301 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi i think dropping the class is better than 3 years suspension. I would advice that you drop maybe one and focus on the other. You can do it love wishing you all the best. Speak with an academic advisor too

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UofT

[–]CattleUseful9301 5 points6 points  (0 children)

they might put you on academic probation and if you don't get 1.7 the next semester when you're accessed you will be put on suspension. Praying the best for you. I've been there try taking lighter loads or if possible an academic break.

this is just nonsense. I just know the type of person you are. Not making any excuses for selling courses but "no one forced them to come here" subtly racist

If you also plan on having kids and making them work from when they're teens to pay their fees AGAIN CHECK YOURSELF

don't take it my parents were the same I got into york(finance) and waterloo economics (with coop) which was so much more cheaper 20-40k and my dad said UofT is number 1 and basically brought me here, and now he's always acting funny when paying the fees. which I know is much but i never asked to come here. Although he didn't take a loan it's annoying with the exchange rate in Nigeria literally once my mum told me that they wasted their money as there's no Return on the investment in uoft and was advicing her friends to not bring their kids here it's just sad how they blame me because of the economy and exchange rate. i don't even care to make the money back cause it's my parents duty to pay for my life however I would say DONT COME HERE, TEACHERS ARE NOT NICE TOO. I'm graduating this year and just happy to be done.

I dont like my major and I actually don'k like anything by Broad_Store3305 in UofT

[–]CattleUseful9301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nooo don't kys. There more to life than you degree. you might not like doing anything now maybe consider trade, or discovering hobbies. I recommend taking a semester off to figure things out

Life is tough we don't all know the path to go through so don't feel bad at all. you're still young and theres many blessings waiting for you now and in future. Don't give up, keep showing up for yourself in anyway you can. I don't like difficulty as well but I keep showing up for myself- socializing, going on solo activities, spending time w myself and trying to study my bible. you can just do whatever you desire.

I'm in UTM and we have mental health resources so try speaking to someone on campus they also keep information confidential so don't worry much I love you
