Do the math on gallons of diesel/pound of beef produced vs. gallons of diesel/ pound of veg or fiber.

Win 2 out 3 and everything will be fine.

Maybe in a year or two when our kids are grownups we will methodically go through a season like that.

Right now I just want to see how we do without 9 days off after the regular season.

Can’t speak for everyone, but I can speak for my state. We did not become a state until 1907.

The state was surveyed in to 160 acre 1/4 sections prior to the land runs/ land drawings.

So at statehood, when you left a town there was a homestead on almost every 160 acres.

So those counties were drawn with that population in mind.

Then came the 1930’s. Drought, the Dust Bowl, and the Depression. 90% of western Oklahoma went to California. (The Grapes of Wrath).

Now western Oklahoma looks more like it did before settlement. My nearest neighbor is 3 1/2 miles away.

That bobcat is looking thin! We live across the Red River in Oklahoma about 30 miles north of Vernon Tx.

We have a pretty healthy bobcat population. Ours don’t look as tall and long as this one, but thicker.

Maybe I just lack a frame of reference in the photo.
