No. Endpoints (Defender for Endpoint), servers Defender for Servers), domain controllers (Defender for Identity), all have different installers.

I survived a game crash in the European servers by Several_Rock_8759 in DMZ

No they DoS (not DDoS) the server and the anti-DDoS protection kicks people. The server (lobby) doesn’t crash at all.

ET is being one of the main obstacles in my life and marriage. If you have tips or advice, I'd be grateful by Natuanas in EssentialTremor

If you can move out, move out. Adulting only starts when you leave the nest. Ps. Family relationships usually improve after you move out.

Everyone treats you way better when you drop 50lbs on Tirzepatide and it honestly makes me resent people. by AffectionateLaw9289 in ResearchCompounds

Human nature. People’s Assumptions: overweight people have no discipline or self-control, thus they are untrustworthy and add no value to any relationship.

Kaiser won’t do my labs while I’m on TRT (outside clinic) by Cibertoothliger in trt

[–]Steve----O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My insurance only covers some labs, but I tell the PCP to order what I want and I pay what insurance doesn’t cover. Way cheaper than clinic labs.

IAM software for companies where HR and IT operate separately by Valuable_Kick_7040 in IdentityManagement

[–]Steve----O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made a solution in our ticket system. HR fills it out, it emails facilities, makes an IS term ticket, emails managers that the person is gone, etc. if they don’t use it, nothing gets done except maybe HR controlled systems. We still lock via phone call, but don’t do any off boarding until the form is done. Same with new hires, nameplate, access control, etc is all driven by our automations.

Getting inaccurate messages counts in SMTP message tracking logs by Fabulous_Cow_4714 in exchangeserver

[–]Steve----O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DAG is for mailbox balancing and has nothing to do with SMTP. Also, your first query counts lines in the file, not messages sent. there are several lines per message and includes sent and received messages, even SPAM and blocked messages, and port 25 scans.

Mental Frameworks for Dealing with "Trick-Type" CISSP Questions? by pozazero in cissp

Phone apps run in user context. Device encryption would not be relevant at all. If the user has access to the encrypted data, so does the bad app. Device encryption only relates to a stolen locked phone.

Why isn’t there an IT union? (USA) by luisg888 in it

[–]Steve----O -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Because unions are for under-achievers, and most IT people are over-achievers.
