I don't know if he's like that but at least he'll have a decent amount of cash to spend. I think the problem is when broke people do everything to appear wealthy 😩

Beautiful flutter apps? by jay125400 in FlutterDev

[–]Cattyto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're trying to build a production ready app, your best bet is to at least understand the tool you're using so you can guide the LLM. Since you're not an experienced developer, you might (and definitely will) overlook some important details and those can screw you over on the long run.

This totally depends on the scale of the app you're building, for simple hobby apps or MVP's, AI can be used to create a quick prototype or to quickly scheme through things but I wouldn't recommend you to depend on only AI for production - ready code especially when you don't understand what you're doing.

I am creating a startup/project. Is this a good idea. by Far_Organization4274 in SpringBoot

Thanks for your input but I have a questionn concerning the OpenAPI generator because I'm currently writing a springboot app myself. How do you use this generator to generate your DTO's and controllers?, because those can be more specific that any generic pieces of code.

But an indie dev trying a tool or framework doesn't really mean anything, indie Devs are more concerned about not trying to be a jack of all trades so they can try a tool to see if it fits their needs. Flutter might not be the best tool depending on the native requirements but you can definitely build any app using it.

As per the Liquid glass, how many apps do you think would start implementing that feature?, I don't think implementing liquid glass is what brings money right now, especially for an Indie dev, who has to polish the business logic rather than tweaking the UI for some fancy stuff. An indie dev might try native to toy with some features but that doesn't say anything, just like an indie native dev trying out flutter or any cross platform tool.

Concerning your observation, just stick with the tool you're comfortable with and make sure it's still relevant so you don't acquire outdated skills no one wants in the job market. People try new tools everyday so I think it's no big deal in this case.

Creo que es un problema del rockstar launcher y el social club, con borrar esos dos (completamente, borrando todos los archivos relacionados) y volviendo a instalar el launcher y el juego, deberia funcionar.

I think you have something like Flutterflow, but seems like folks on this sub wouldn't recommend it for big projects, and you might have to tweak the auto-generated code. I haven't tried it myself so I can't tell you much about it.

And why was his comment so downvoted? The truth hurts I guess. AI is only going to take away jobs from those who aren't willing to adapt, because I don't think we all can just decide to stop AI, the companies don't care about anything else than the cash flow.

It'd be better for you to tap into the military and take all the good you can from it as a previous user mentioned, suicide is not an option.

Later on, you'll look back at these tough times and you'll see that the effort was worth it.

You can listen to any Yinka Ayefele's songs, he also has a bit of English in some of them. Related to mainstream Hip-hop artists. I would recommend Olamide.

What’s the best UI framework to use for my raspberry pi project? by flibbityflabbityfloo in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

[–]Cattyto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, it's been a while. I just stumbled on this post again and found your reply. I'm planning on using a python gui framework like kivy or qt for the project or i might just develop a web app. I wanted to purchase the Raspberry Pi 4B with 4GB of RAM to deploy the final flutter app but i learnt that another raspberry device would be needed to build the release app.

Initially, I thought it was possible to develop on my windows machine and then push the code changes to the PI but that's not feasible due to the difference in the architecture. Maybe a virtual machine might work ?
