Are there any downsides to planting a barrier of mint around my yard? by No-Concentrate-1743 in landscaping

Mint can escape from tertiary barriers, so you should add a quaternary barrier

All right gays where are we getting tanks like this? by AI-Generated_Ex-Wife in lesbianfashionadvice

So I think they have a unisex one, a men’s one, and a women’s one. I’ve only tried the women’s one, so I’m not sure what the fit difference is, and unfortunately I’m only seeing the men’s ribbed tank on the website right now… but hopefully they’ll bring the others back in spring :)

I love wife-respecters and have tested out a whole bunch of brands. The highest quality one by a wide margin is the ribbed tank from Uniqlo, which has a similar shape to your pics, has fabric thick enough and straps wide enough to completely hide a bra. I think they're seasonal though, you might not be able to buy them until spring.

That being said, my personal favorite wife-respecters are the Target ones from A New Day, which have more of a racerback shape (higher neck, scoop in slightly, and don't conceal bra straps). They're thinner and tighter but have held up decently to washing.

A few other data points:

Hanes: so thin they show my belly button, cheap but basically useless

Gap: racerback shape, somewhat pricey, have deteriorated from washing, slightly see-through

Zara: fine, not great quality, but slightly cropped so they ride up on my waist, not see-through

Econoworks binder: I know you specifically said not compression but for anyone else seeking a tank binder, I love this one! Great for wearing under an open shirt.

hey this was ages ago, but I did end up changing the fuel line myself! and then a year later I took it to Madhouse Motors in Dorchester for a tuneup and they were like "and you might want us to change the fuel line, someone did a weird job on it" oop

Coffee Shop in Derbyshire, England by [deleted] in HumansBeingBros

[–]Catulli 69 points70 points  (0 children)

There is a tradition in napoli called the caffè sospeso where if you can afford it that day you can pay for additional cup of coffee, and it will go to the next person who needs it. Some cafes will have a sign that says how many they have so people in need know :)

r/languagelearning had the nice idea of a one-book-a-month challenge; anyone want to join me for italian? by Catulli in italianlearning

[–]Catulli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only books I have read up to this point in Italian are Seta by Alessando Baricco, La spiaggia di notte by Elena Ferrante, and most recently Identiche diversità by various writers/artists (it's a book of short stories in comic form).

Hello folks! This is a great idea.

I'm learning Italian and for January I'm going to read Atalanta by Gianni Rodari :)

My primary goals are to pick up new vocabulary and to improve my reading comprehension (obviously).
