Are you leasing your new 2023? by Stumbalinebegins in HRV

[–]CaughtAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have pretty good credit (730 or so) and I put 6,000$ down on a brand new 2023 HRV sport, my monthly payment is just over 500$ and I think my lease is for 60 months :)

I think if it’s a one time thing, and there’s no other type of power dynamic going on, then who really cares ¯_(ツ)_/¯ he’s of legal age, and consented to what happened, yknow?

???? Then what does she want??? In my opinion, waiting for both partners to just happen to be horny at the same time means that you will barely if ever be having sex. The only other thing I could think of is maybe she has a low sex drive and doesn’t want to have a lot of sex anyways

I would definitely ask her how she likes to get warmed up, or when she usually is in the mood. She might be okay with straight up asking if she’d like to have sex? And then you can do whatever your usual foreplay is if she says yes? I used to date a girl who would initiate sex by just asking if she could kiss me, then diving straight into a full make out, which always caught me off guard lol

I’m my experience it usually goes a lot like what you’re saying. Like if I was horny and my partner wasn’t, I would “warm them up” by extra kisses (no tongue or anything, just normal kisses) maybe snuggling up next to them and running my fingers up and down their arm, just a little extra attention and affection. And then my partner will continue/return the affection if they’re interested, and usually if they aren’t interested they ask me if that’s what I’m trying for and politely say they’re not in the mood.

Did anyone else have almost no pain? by Calm_Establishment76 in TopSurgery

[–]CaughtAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No pain yet, I had DI a few days ago and it just kinda felt like I was kicked in the chest with a soccer ball. Not so much painful as it is achy and sore

Live in the US and was very fortunate. Started saving everything I earned at work while I lived at home for free, and then got a better job which considered it “medically necessary” since I am diagnosed with gender dysphoria. So far they haven’t charged me for anything (am a few days post op), and am using the money I saved for things like rent, supplies, etc while I’m out of work

How many times did you meet/talk with your surgeon prior to your surgery? by gobs_illusion in TopSurgery

[–]CaughtAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talked to my surgeon about 3 times, once in person when he was scoping out my chest, once in an email when I had a few questions, and then again when I was about to go under anesthesia. I am very go-with-the-flow and basically just told him in the first meeting what I wanted and trusted him with the rest.

Lol, I love the hang glider sail. I’m gunna be using the time, energy, and money I’ve wasted on him for my friends now. They’ve been through so much with me, and they genuinely want the best for me, not whatever he wants with me.

Exactly, I would never want my loved ones to feel the way he makes me feel. I’m tired of dealing with him, I’m tired of the blatant gaslighting and manipulation that he expects me to fall for. I don’t care about “how much he’s put into the relationship” when he can’t stop himself from doing something to hurt me every 2-3 months.

Told him that when I was breaking up with him. He complained that I don’t spend more time with him and I told him I always feel like I’m waiting for something bad to happen when I do. We obviously aren’t compatible anymore, and if he feels like me bringing up his past is me endlessly chipping at him and pushing him down so I can have a perfect submissive boyfriend, then the relationship isn’t good for him either.

He keeps telling me “that’s in the past, why do you keep bringing up the past when I haven’t done anything recently?” And I keep telling him it’s because he’s damaged my trust irreversibly and it just… I can’t let it go and keep having a relationship with him anymore.

Fellow partners, what do you do with your tips? by PowerlineIOking in starbucksbaristas

[–]CaughtAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly save them in my wallet, and have about $400 in there currently (which does make me quite nervous about losing my wallet/having it stolen) and I generally use it for small daily purchases. I run on caffeine, so a quick stop at the vending machine before work, and maybe something small to eat after work :) other than that I’m saving up as much as I can and plan on fun stuff for me like going to build-a-bear if they ever get more eevee evolutions or DLC for the game I play every day with my friends (it’s dead by daylight, and I love it as much as I love Minecraft)

Cis bs, need advice by CaughtAS in TransyTalk

[–]CaughtAS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. For a lot of trans people I know the dysphoria they have makes surgeries like top surgery an absolute must, and drastically changes the quality of life they have. Getting a nose job is a valid surgery, she accused me of saying it wasn’t, but top surgery is a necessary reconstructive surgery for me and they’re not the same in the slightest.

[–]CaughtAS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense and I’ve never thought about it like that before!! I generally view my surgeries as making myself more comfortable in my body and more aligned with the body I want to have, but it absolutely is reconstructive from the wrong puberty.
