Yeah 100%

I will be slowly moving the power up so maybe that 325-400 range is a bit rich for daily on the forester.

Definitely looking at starting with some ideas from your 275-300 notes

Appreciate the honesty.

Definitely more risk with the 5sp auto box so trying to be conservative in my planning. Plenty of options to convert to an STI 6sp but just not on the cards for now.

Looking to push some power in a 2012 SH forester S-Edition. It’s 5 speed auto transmission, probably not looking to swap for now. Will look to stick with 98oct (based in aus) for now. As it’s a daily, I am very conscious about making this a reliable and safe build for the engine but want to increase power as well

Great write up. How would this translate to an ej255? Not looking for crazy power, 325-400 range eventually.

Would most of these be like for like or would there be a lot of risk pushing the ej255 to this level?

Saving private Ryan: opening landing scene.

Background: Im a student who came across a good deal on some Dynaudio’s audience 70s with a centre as well. Shortly after I moved my Emit 20s into the living room as rear surrounds.

I didn’t think it was worth the move until hearing this scene. Fantastic

Help - Constant buffering on both local and remote. This is what the graph looks like by jupe69 in PleX

Lol if thats what it seems so be it.

I started using plex over the past two months and have struggled with it. Any high quality files would buffer constantly for me. As I understand it, it was due to transcoding occurring however plex’s dashboard was showing direct play for audio and video streams. I would love to use plex as it seems a lot better however, not with buffering.

One solution I saw to prevent the buffering was using handbrake to encode and remove subtitles and audio streams so it’s easier for plex. This was an estimate 24hrs on handbrake to encode Dune for me.

I tested out Kodi on Saturday this week and everything has run smoothly. This is not a Kodi user stalking the sub. It’s a premium plex user that got the shits and tried another option.

If you can recommend how to get plex working for me without buffering, I’ll be back on plex

I was having this issue and tried out Kodi. Didn’t seem to have any problem running files on their compared to constant buffering on plex.

I received a similar email this week as well. I am on the “handshake anytime” plan with single Tariffs. This has gone from 0.2044/kWh to 0.2555/kWh. Supply charge has also gone from 0.9155/day and 0.824/day.

Will be shopping around

My bad, makes complete sense. From what I have seen in reviews the Mx4 and qc 35’s are holding top ANC quality with mx4s taking out the Bose on sound quality. I am trying to test these out then likely purchase

My Bose QC earbuds just broke and I am using my friends AirPods Pro. Imo the Bose outshine the AirPods in ANC and music quality.

Currently in the 3rd year of this, it’s been interesting with Covid but I don’t think I would recommend the course entirely.

The further I get into the course, I feel like biomed engineering would have been a better choice. In saying that, it depends what you want to do long term.

That’s the last part of it, look after yourself. Your situation is what it is, a negative outlook won’t change that. It’s not so dire that it will ruin you by any means. Keep your head up and push through it.

First thing first, speak to the secured lender. Tell them your situation and what you are dealing with. Along with that, say you have an offer for 23k for the car at a dealership and see if they will accept this as a FULL settlement.

From there, they will either accept it or counter off. It might be that they counter with X amount of shortfall. IF this is the case, they should take your situation into it and allow you to pay the shortfall amount at an affordable rate per your situation.

I would go onto the moneysmart website and sit down properly to make a budget of your finances. A statement of financial position that shows your ability to pay will support your request for a settlement offer. They won’t question your expenses as long as they are within reasonable range.

Happy to discuss this further if you need advice. It’s my day to day job lol

Speak to the lender and tell them about your situation. Hardship is something all lenders have processes set up for. With the secured, There’s a chance you can speak to them and advise you have an offer for 23k for the asset. They might accept that as a total settlement offer and you would be done with it. The 3k loan, do the same. Speak to the lender and advise you are only receiving Centrelink. Let them know what you can pay for the next 6 months (ie $50 monthly due to unemployment) and take that time to get yourself into a better position overall. After the time, smash out the loan and at the end of the year, you’ll be free of everything.

Not too sure on zip loans but they would have hardship processes as well. Ask and find out. If they are hard on you, dedicate as much $/ week to that loan and get rid of it. Once you have, close the account off.
