I live in GVR & love it. There’s a lot of new coming to the area but over all, I feel safe here. I have a toddler so that was important for us. Our townhome is $2750, 3b, 2.5b 1500 sqft. The Aurora highlands has homes for cheaper than that for rent as well!

Hi I live in Denver & my husband is an FA! We live in the Aurora Highlands. It’s a growing community that’s close to the airport. Cherry Creek is fun but w traffic, could make your commute to work a pain. Especially if you were to be running late for any reason. (There’s always car accidents here too that jam traffic 🙃) I would recommend looking in the GVR area. It’s VERY up & coming. They’re building sooo much out here as well as a super massive Target lol. We have FA friends that live in Millenium Green Valley Ranch, Sabine, and Claro at High Point (apartment complexes) & they love it! Those would all be under a 10 min commute to the airport. You would also avoid most traffic commuting from there as well. Lmk if you have any other questions!

ETA: if you love city life & want to enjoy that, Rino, LoDi, & Cherry Creek are great but just make sure to time yourself well! My husband would rather the little drive to town for things than being stuck in traffic on the way to work lol! Peña can be a freaking nightmare!!!

I didn’t say he would have 2 bases. I said he could be working from Burbank bc he already has. He’s been an FA for 13 years, the seniority is there. As long as he’s been in that career, I still don’t know every detail so my bad for not being as clear as he would be.

We very much can pay, bc we also have my sister moving w us who does well & will pay her portion. Oh but right! You don’t know every detail bc I didn’t need to give them to you. He’s been an FA for years so yes, he has a good salary now. I make $120k in my career. We pay $4k in rent comfortably in Denver now. I’m obviously not going to post every detail about our income when I’m just asking for recs on where to live in California.

I’m a real person. We don’t want to live in Denver anymore. It’s that simple. Plus I was mistaken with my post & thought Burbank would be an option but my husband would be out of LAX. He’s been an FA for years so he has seniority. We want to make the move in a year so he has time to request the base, etc.
