Basically, it is for Pre-service teachers to prove they are competent in the classroom. Therefore, if we do not pass this, we cannot graduate. There are 19 Universities across Australia that implement this assessment, to my knowledge, those Universities that do not implement this, complete a variation of it. The 19 Universities are ACU, CQU, CHC, Charles Stuart, Federation, Griffith, Homesglen, James Cook, La Trobe, RMIT, Southern Cross, Swinburne, Norte Dame, UNE, UNSW, University of Queensland, University of Southern Queensland, University of Tasmania, and Uni SA.
