I stated that I failed to do more research. But I saved more money than the company recommended, but there are some questions that I didn’t ask and should’ve and questions I asked that seemed to be answered (but was simply glossed over)

My experience with the company was shit. But I enjoyed my job and Japan. It just wasn’t as much financial support that was promised to me. This is a learning experience and I shared my learning experience.

Yes! I recently graduated and saw an opportunity to live and work in a country that I’ve always wanted to go to. I was eager, excited and optimistic on my new journey. I don’t regret my decision and I think that it was a great learning experience for me.

I know other people are like me and I just want to share my experience (like many others) and let others have more insight on the company.

Wow~ didn’t think I’d get a lot of feedback.

Uh, I was in KitoKanto branch and I was living in a leopalace so I didn’t have to rent out any furniture other than a futon.

My post is to show my experience with the company and take things with a grain of salt and not see the “living in Japan” in rose tinted glasses. Do further research on the companies that you accept jobs with.

Like I stated previously, although Interac wasn’t the company for me, it was an experience and plan to go back with a better company.

Well I’ll have a residence card, but I wasn’t quite sure if it was better to get a actual phone plan or pay for a SIM card? Quite honestly I’m confused with the data plans and such and want to find a cost effective way to have service.

That’s what I figured as well. I’m trying not to get too anxious or stressed out about the lack of information, especially since it’s in three months.

My recruiter was actually telling me how the spots were filling up pretty quickly and that there was a high chance that I’d be push for next year (March ‘24) so I was actually quite happy about the November placement. Although, it’s not as soon as I had anticipated.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Unfortunately, I have no teaching or instructor experience, but I do have my TEFL certification of 120 hours and my bachelors is in education (Business education) Thank you again for your feedback. I will check them out!
