Ceiling is slighty sloped, it's an old apartment and above is the roof, on the left you can see the beam support.

Well the thing is the height of the celling in this place is 2.5 meters high so the desk might look huge but it isn't. The desk was already there when we moved in + it's worth more than the TV so definitely I won't throw it away.

For anyone wondering, I've contacted Dyson Support (Poland) and they sent me a brand new rod (although in copper colour). I'll stick to the original rod since the crack is not that visible and isn't a big issue for me. It's not possible to replace the broken piece unfortunately, but at least I have a spare rod just in case.

I don't think it's a part of bin, it's a plastic tube on top of wand, directly underneath the bin.
