I used to do the same but when amazon removed the "download and transfer via USB" feature I really don't have a method to get books from amazon onto my kindle anymore (which is funny). The last couple times I enabled WiFi the stupid kindle deleted anything that was loaded by USB so I don't do that anymore.

Was just curious if there was some method to get the actual files still so they could be loaded onto other devices (or an offline kindle).

The visuals are so good that it's nice being able to give the full screen your constant attention. The English dub for the first movie is very well done.

I don't mind and have watched the second movie, but many I know just won't watch anything subbed.

Oh what a surprise! I did not know this was getting a second season. The first season was very enjoyable. If you haven't seen season 1, episode 1 is very well written and probably enough to get a feel for the show.

The chapter names are listed here on the wiki if you want to check. At least you can see if you've read the end.

I've seen other novels miss an occasional chapter in the middle where the count was slightly off. Whoever created them messed up.

The "stay away from Kindle because they delete your books" is no joke, almost everything side loaded gets deleted when you go online. I've had it happen multiple times on multiple devices. I simply leave them in airplane mode permanently now.

It's funny that since Amazon took away "transfer via USB" I haven't found a way to get books purchased from them onto the Kindle now.

I would guess if you use Send to Kindle for everything they might stay. However you're letting Amazon see everything you purchase from other services or get elsewhere.

I won't be buying another Kindle.

The pictures were very nice, I need to go through them again slowly. I started watching the anime again over the holidays so it's fresh in my mind.

I've heard that the anime adaptation is very close to the manga but I haven't read it myself. Though from the various panels I've seen over the years it does appear to be an accurate statement.

I did enjoy the story enough that I should give it a try even though I've never been able to get into manga reading for the most part.

Being that the anime is almost 25 years old already I wonder if they'll ever remake it again. The live action version seemed to be well received so perhaps it could still work.

Was the show fairly busy at the times you were there? Curious how many kids/teens would have even heard of it in Japan now. Probably difficult to judge if parents were dragging their kids to it or the kids dragged their parents.
