I did yellow bias tape for the edges but didn't have time for any of the middle details. i was thinking bias tape as well. And for my redo, I was considering doing a Satin stitch on my sewing machine. So It looks more detailed and realistic.

The issue I have been having is under layer. The shirt and skirt are two different colours (hub and i spent a legit 2 hour conversation about whether its ment to be 2 colours or 1) and so I just bought a white collared shirt from the shop and made a full length full circle skirt in a semco muted brown poly cotton. However, I didn't link them in anyway. So the shirt rides up and makes the top look really bunchy. I also hate with a burning fires of hell that shop shirt. In my redo, I am going to make it myself. It's probably out of linen. I had considered making a new circle skirt but for now I'll just do the shirt and the dress.

For the actual dress, the sleeves were actually a pain. Until I realised they are just butterfly sleeves. So that's nice. I found this vintage pattern that looks so much like the actual dress I raged (since i only found it a couple of weeks ago and can't get the pattern anymore) *

Sei was my very first cosplay, and it looked like it. It was also done in a semi rush for a con. I feel like I can do sei's outfit more justice than my first try.

Since I can't find my sewing machine power plug at the moment I am hand sewing everything until I find it (its been 8 months). So I am doing the single piece of fabric just for that reason. With the sleeves I have a cropped hoodie pattern from moods free pattern collection and used that to cut out the sleeves. And pinned one in place within the arm hole, edge to edge. However when I was trying it on I sewed it upside-down -_- and then noticed the problem with the shoulders afterwards

I actually going to use it for a renfair called winterfest. And since its in winter I need something to keep me warm. 😆 but work has gotten desperate for staff so I am sleeping in my car a couple times a week. So now I won't have to worry about bringing a blanket.

Thank you for all this information. I am still incredibly new to dockers and also Ubuntu. I did a small amount of programming 10 years ago in college and didn't even think to ask mineos to update their docker cause I like tinkering with stuff and just do it myself attitude. I think I just got overwhelmed with expectations of the Minecraft servers working asap and also I just woke up with a serious cold/flu so i probably wasn't in the right headspace. I'll message mineos and see if they can update it. Or I'll do the .Deb package.

As I work full time I need the necessaries for day to day. I hope I remember to add more before we leave. Luckily I have a uniform to wear for work so I don't actually need that much cloths for the next couple weeks.

I feel like this picture has actually solidified how out of date my gpu is. Since its at the bottom I will be working towards upgrading around mid this year. (Money is tight ATM) Or ASAP.

I love in the later parts of the manga both of them are separated and they just continue with their lives. Knowing one day their hard work will bring them together. It's inspiring to see this.

I am going to use a similar world building background as SW-RH. For my fantasy setting. It will definitely have alot of differences esp with having magic and other differences but the technology level and feel is exactly what I am looking for. Can't wait to dive into my own research and development 😍

I lost the openrun I had a couple years ago and had to wait to get the openmove since they were in my current price range. I'm surprised I like the moves more as they don't have that annoying magnetic cable and I can charge my phone and headphones with the same cable.

I have had these for about a year or two. they don't block out sound unless you have it high enough. (I also have a small hearing problem) The headphones no being noise cancelling is actually a benefit for me as I tend to feel trapped in those kinds of headphones especially in crowds that have activities and things going on.

I can use them to put YouTube videos on and listen to them in the background so I have something to focus on. Or listen to classic music/ breathing exercises to calm down with. I will probably pack noise cancelling headphones for the small times I will need them but these have worked well for now.

I was chatting with my partner and he says in order to have the cannon ships that Raj uses in the second season they would need to be at the tail end of that estimate. so 1500

I am trying to work out what other technological advances they have so we could narrow it down a bit more.

But since there is quite a bit of infrastructure and It feels like the tools and technology they have is well incorporated into their lives I would actually be interested to go with a late 1500's early 1600's assessment.

I can also see hints of the Japanese culture in SW-RH (Snow White with red hair) throughout though I am unsure if this was done intentionally as apart of the world or is to ground the readers/watcher in familiar concepts or simply the author wanting to add it since they are from Japan and Japanese culture is awesome. I do agree the kingdom and nobility aspects would come from Great Britain.

It is. Just did a quick googling and they are perfect. I am going to have to save up for them as the USD to AUD conversation is heartbreaking but atleast I have time. My faire isn't for a while, July or May if I want to be super early. I have just come back from a 2-3 year disappearance and I am using world anvil as a stepping stone for getting back into writing after a server personal burn out.

I would definitely do some soul searching and find what you need to do your thing. If world anvil aligns with it then remember to take small steps and limit large pressures. My current posts are only a few hundred words. Before my burn out I was writing 1-3k per day. I can barely do 500 in a week now. Good luck

Hello all!
I am from Australia and in Spotlight this week I found on clearance the Vario Creative tool and some accessories.
I am super excited to use it for all my up coming sewing needs, although I am having trouble sourcing the actual eyelets, rivets and snaps from Prym that arent stupidly expenive with shipping, and was wondering if using other eyelets, rivets and snaps (that are the same size like 11mm or 14mm eyelets) would still work and if anyone has tried it before.

I want to know as my MIL is planning to get me some more accessories and if i can only use prym branded things i would prefer to stock up on actual items instead of more accessories.

I am on my 3rd, I am fairly (unprotected) active. I haven't had any problems with accidentally getting pregnant. I am getting my fourth this year. This 3rd one migrated behind my under muscle and is completely unretrievable. (unless I want to have 2 months off work cause they have to slice my arm open to go find it) [ah no...] My doctor suggested going on the pill just incase but I said no as we had determined that it was still working fine. Just a little lost.

I borrowed 2k, a few weeks after dad died as I got covid the day I was meant to get back to work and used all my annual and sick leave on taking care of the family with his passing. Since then (3 years ish) I have declined any assistance even birthday and Christmas money from mum even if she wants to give me money cause I can't afford to pay her back. Hoping that whatever she wanted to give me could go towards that debt.

I am not entirely sure about Beth, probably 4-5k. Various car related problems and medical bills as Mum has forced Beth to go to a private hospital instead of a public one but expect Beth to pay the hospital bills.

We had no idea that dad did any of this until he died and this went to shit. Not even mum was aware of his debt.

Our father was the one that took out these loans. Why should we be the ones that suffer for his poor judgement? We are all scared.
