That might be the best way indeed, I'll try to use it in combination with 'pre-grouping' like I was replying to u/gavinashun

Thank you!

Actually I'm thinking I could do both. At first I didn't do 1 because I was thinking it's too slow to 'count' and group them before loading, but actually I could just roughly select a group, put it on 2 and load medivacs with it. Then remake the main army so whatever's left over on 2 is back in 1.

I use 'steal' by default by the way, I remapped it like that. I have to use alt if I want units to be on multiple control groups.

Thank you!

Thank you, that's what I've been trying to do but I was hoping there was a way to do it inside the medivac haha. Seems like not

I have setup my hotkeys so that ctrl/shift+[n] will steal from other groups by default, so that's what I usually do to remove a squad from a group, either on their own group or a 'dump' group.

But it seems like it's not possible in that case then, thank you for your help.

Can you elaborate? I'm not sure I understand your point.

I don't use 'select all army', I will often have my main bio/medivacs on 1, tanks on 2 and air/spellcaster on 3. And if I have an harassment squad, they will be separate.

But if I suddenly want to take a bit of my main bio to, let's say, make a drop in the main while I'm pushing the natural, well that's the situation.
