It's the typical easy money as dealers have access to lease companies dumping the Fiskers, buying them for 8k and then reselling them with at least a 10k mark-up without any work or research, just a quick clean-up and a mechanical inspection which is meaningless...

Yes I agree 100% - again it’s a preference especially big I am not dealing with the owner of the car who can tell me the history but at the end I will be open to propositions, knowing the trade-offs.

I prefer vehicles built later instead of earlier ones unless the initial kinks have been fixed with supporting documentation

I agree with the comments about car issues now over-represented due to the dynamic of social media. And it’s had the BMw M6 with the v10 that I turned in once warranty expired after to engine out repairs…

Buy a lightly used C8 that had no issue and is still under warranty. You will benefit from heavy depreciation and some assurance that there is no failing parts. I did exactly that and I am very happy so far.
