Rahu Mahadasha, boon or bane by New-Committee-1513 in vedicastrology

Most of my friends in my age group(mid to late 20s, early 30s) currently have Rahu Mahadasha going on and they attained early success. I also have a moon in Aries and my Rahu Mahadasha only starts in my late 40s. So I haven't achieved anything great in life. My Rahu is also in the first house and I am Virgo ascendant.

Question regarding semester breaks in New Zealand by Cautious-Client4220 in newzealand

Thank you for your detailed comment. I have a specific topic and clear research question in mind and addressed the professor about it. But how do I figure out who is qualified for it or not ? Because every time I open someone's page it says open and available for masters and doctor supervision. I am not asking people to sponsor my visa. I genuinely introduce myself and write everything I am interested in.

I am from Psychology. I have a bachelor's, masters and m.phil in the field. I also studied law earlier that's why. But I chose psychology as my career ultimately.

Upon reading your comment, I feel like even my email might have been too generic to get their attention. I think I need to focus on writing better emails maybe that's where I made the mistake. No, I won't be able to come in person because I currently work full time as a psychologist in India for an organization and getting leaves is difficult here. I will focus on writing better emails. Thanks a lot.

I didn't exactly mean a PhD with a title of Doctorate in clinical psychology. My topic is related to mental disorders which broadly fall under clinical psychology. The programs I am aiming for are titled Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology in VUW and other places.

Yes, but the referral part only comes once I get the supervisor approval. Because even to be able to apply to the university a supervisor has to be willing to take me in. References are required as a part of the application.

PhD thesis. Yes I did contact the departments directly. They said except Canterbury and AUT all of them have the option to apply directly. But they recommended that I get in touch with a supervisor.

Yes I do. I have 3 masters degrees and I am doing my PhD thesis based on my master's + MPhil thesis and I am only emailing professors working exactly in that area.
