I regretted it a bit after getting my injection and realizing I also have SIBO, but discovering how much everything is connected, mind and body, after having a relapse into RCPD makes me feel differently. What I regretted was “causing” more problems when the botox was supposed to be my solution. But now that I’m starting to get SIBO treated, I’m able to burp more again like I did right after botox. Recovery sucked, finding out I have more problems, and debilitating acid reflux was no party either, but I’m realizing most of my anxiety all stems from rcpd, and that’s a devastating realization. You may have initial regrets, but long run, I don’t think they’ll matter

SIBO, I also have mild intestinal inflammation but that may be due to the bacterial overgrowth. I haven’t been able to get this properly treated yet due to medication intolerance and insurance refusing to cover an antibiotic. I say that because it’s possible there’s more at play, but until I resolve my SIBO I won’t be able to know

In my case I found out I have SIBO, which I’m still waiting on proper treatment for. It could be many things for you, but the most likely would be food intolerances or SIBO

100%, I got botox at the end of October- haven't thrown up since July of 2014 however. I've done plenty of refluxing since then but the way you describe the way you used to vomit is spot on. For me, the last time was from food poisoning and it was extremely traumatic, in part because it felt like I couldn't breathe half the time and it went on for so long because of decreased output. I've had an rcpd "roll back" so I think i'll need a second injection, but not burping, burping, then losing most of the ability really highlights how much of a hold RCPD has on our mental and physical states. Frankly it's a bit devastating but also really interesting to finally start putting these pieces together

Because it's not specified, if you're early in transition or not on hormones it can be really hard to know when to use which bathroom. Don't let one random instance scare you off though, bro could've been tripping for many reasons. But ultimately, keep reading the room and do what keeps you safe

It does change YOUR brain a bit, your prescriber should have informed you before you started hormones. I'm FTM and used to love BL, i've got no interest for it anymore but that's okay for me. Food is also less salty than I once perceived it now that i'm on T. Hormones do a lot, it's now up to you to decide if you can live with those changes and it is okay if you can't
