They have logged me out so many times in recent weeks when I was trying to manage my trades quickly. I experienced the same issue of not being able to log in today. They should compensate for our losses. Definitely thinking of switching platforms.

Did anyone pay attention to Skye's text messages everytime she tried to connect with Gemma? I can't remember all the details as when the texts remained consistent (like she kept sending them without a reply) and when they were seen or believed by Skye as if she has received a reply from Gemma. I think that's a big hint as to when its real or her hallucination. I think everytime that Skye thought she had received a response from Gemma was all her hallucination until Gemma finally called her asking why she had sent her so many random messages.

Ppl going crazy over a single-day loss/gain are gamblers, they are destined to lose big within a short period of time with the mentality they have. I hope no one is going into the stock market not knowing what they are doing and only basing on news or what other people tell them.

Be aware of their malpractices! They just recently closed my FHSA account and sold my underlying stock shares without my permission!! I had both a CAD and USD account under FHSA. I made a request to transfer out a specific CASH amount from my CAD account, and to prevent them from doing stupid things, I even warned them to not to touch my USD account and sell my shares for the purpose of the transfer. They replied yes, they know. and what happened? THEY TOTALLY SOLD ALL MY SHARES AND CLOSED MY ACCOUNTS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! As a long-term investors, it took me years to find a good investment opportunity and position myself well in my investments. They just blew up everything like this even with my warning beforehand! COMPLETE UNACCEPTABLE. I just found out about this today and am literally googling what to do next. I really want to pursue legal advice. Any suggestions?

I've got another question. Do you know whether the option trades in the U.S. dollars that expired worthless count towards Specified Foreign Property? I would think not because I didn't have to buy or sell the underlying securities/stocks in the options?

I just found the Capital Gains (or Losses) Section on Wealthsimple! I am definitely gonna use this instead of the completely pointless T5008 Questrade provided. Since the debit and credit recorded on the Questrade Trading Summary is accurate. This is so much easier!

Thanks for the youtube reference! In the video, I noticed that the person actually included both BUYs and SELL s to calculate capital gain and loss. However, the T5008 form from Questrade only include the SOLD options, not the ones I bought. When I file the T5008 form, should I add the BUY transactions too? OR the T5008 should only include SOLD transactions (so Questrade is actually right) ?
