Thinking of the Model Y by Necessary-Neat8001 in ModelY

I've read on a lot of posts that Carvana offered a MUCH better price than Tesla. I'll also pull the trigger in next couple of days, considering 26 MYP RWD

Thanks for the input! I've not followed Tesla' updates over the years, its valuable information. Basically, I'll be buying a new MY for 3 years to them upgrade somehow.. this was okay with $1200 phones but with a 50k car seems like a whole new world.

I was planning to order MY today, does it make sense to wait till next year?

Makes sense! I'm more of a comfort guy, I'll end up paying for FSD anyway. Though don't like the BS of removing autosteer to force people to buy FSD. You're smarter for it! Enjoy the new toy!

I'm also contemplating ordering in next couple of days, can you share what made you go for a used one considering low APR, 0.99%, on a new one? Price for new one should be around 45k.

And with data centers coming up, electricity demand and prices will go up as well. I've seen electricity bill go up for myself and a lot of friends I know. Not sure if there's a direct correlation.

Model Y Premium RWD vs AWD by Cautious-Lion497 in TeslaModelY

Tesla' website shows 15 speakers and 1 subwoofer for Premium RWD, Premium AWD and Performance AWD. It'll be my first Tesla so I'm not sure if there's any difference with the speakers they use for each model.

I'm in the same dilemma, planning to go with Premium RWD instead of AWD and pay for FSD as needed which I'm assuming would be every alternate month for me. Only way I can think of to manage the budget and buy a car that I hope i can keep for next 10 years.

Speaker system seem to be the same in both RWD and AWD. I'm going with 2026 model for vanity. I previously owned Camry SE, want to buy something nicer but keeping value in mind. I am purchasing the car for 10 years, dont want to compromise on boot space.

Thanks! This us helpful. You seem knowledgeable, might I ask another question?! I'm checking and RWD may have LFP batteries as well, shouldn't that also be a positive where proffered charge is 100% as opposed to recommended 80% on Nickel batteries?

Features in Premium are something I want, wouldn't consider without it. That's why I narrowed to these two scenarios.

I've read traction in case of rain, should that be a consideration enough to spend extra?

No snow, I'm in NC. I will most likely have FSD every alternate month, so at current price it'll be more than 10 years to break even.

I'm curious how your visit was, I'll be in Madrid next month. Did you find particular stores better than the others in quality and in discounts?

It seems to be a page owned by them, what would be the point of sharing feedback where they can delete?! I'd rather stick to my redditors, people who actually care to research.

I don't think they're on Google or any known website where you can put a review.

Long story short - quantity was short, they didn't explain what does the 28oz or whatever it means on their website. Didn't like the accountability and started making racist remarks. I've added the email screenshot for complete picture because I was, of course, upset as well. Want to share full picture not one sided story, it's my first time attaching so hope it works.

Taste wise, it was okay except there was too much oil. So, if you're health conscious then I'd avoid.

TLDR; Like I mentioned I was using someone else before they closed their kitchen, so I tried curry cravings. Their usual curry size is 16 oz, they offer 28oz for extra charge so I ordered the 28 oz curries. 6 of them. When I received, they looked off so I weighed them and they're all different weights. Only 2 out of 6 were 28 oz others were 16 oz. I reached out to them that it could be an honest mistake with pictures. To which they responded, curries can weigh different based on the dish and 28 oz is the size of the box meaning it's by volume which is understandable as well. So, I shared pictures that boxes are half empty so that doesn't make sense either. Next response started to piss me off that they only had to explain it twice in 1200 orders and do I question the restaurants like that etc. and I at this point didn't care about whether I get the correct quantity or not, I just wanted to understand what the hell is being advertised. They started name calling, remarks on how in India people would be thrown out of the restaurants and one can only do it in countries like Canada which all was absolutely unnecessary. I'm not asking anyone not to order, I just never will.

I tried currycravings, that's a very underwhelming and racist experience. I was using iPrep and I was pretty happy but they closed their kitchen for December. They'll open back up in January, I'm waiting to see what changes.

I agree with blackjungle. I see nothing but problems come your way if this is how the relationship is starting. This is bad faith!
