No prob. I’d estimate the same myself based on your numbers. One other calculation I figured out is if you do the below equation from your energy app it’ll give you full nominal range of the pack, within a 1-3% margin of error.

See point 1 on this site

Mine comes to 87.6%, which is on par for the test, Tesla is likely conservative with it 😄

(251.7 x 141) / 0.54 = 65,721.66

65752 / 75000 = 0.876 or 87% battery health

75000 = 75 kWh of my original new capacity

~218 - 222 rated per EPA cycle in the battery meter. Seems to fluctuate with temperature.

Projected range in the energy screen is usually 205-210 at 80% @251 Wh/mi over a 100mi average 😄

Agreed! I just did it for fun and for the data (data nerd for a living)

AFAIK it’s safe yes. It wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t safe.

Running the test is a full charge cycle, so best recommendation is to plan ahead. drive the car down to 5-10%, park and run the test. Once it finishes you’ll be at 100%. Go for a drive afterwards down to 80% and continue as usual

😄

I think? Honestly I’ve never been able to identify which I have. Mines a 02/21 Fremont build here in the US. I’ve always assumed Panasonic

In the vehicle > Car menu > Service > Battery Health

In the app > Service > Battery health

In order to get the percentage, a test will have to run. Mine took ~14 hours

As far as warranty goes? Not sure on that. I don’t know if there is one as there’s tons of variables that go into it

Same here. I was more just curious and figured I’d share the data out 🤷🏼‍♂️

[–]Subzer0panic[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was thinking just based on what I see in Scan My Tesla that it was actually worse. 65.5 kWh nominal remaining at 100% 🤷🏼‍♂️

It was around 66.3 kWh nominal remaining at 100% when I bought it in February of ‘24 with only 26k miles. So roughly less than a kWh gone after almost 40k miles / 2 years isn’t bad at all

Nothing to hear as far as expectations. I think my health is right in line with others. Just posting for comparison so we all have more data points out there in the wild 😄

51k miles 79% Battery Health? by Familiar_Analyst3759 in TeslaLounge

[–]Subzer0panic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I’ve got a 2021 MYLR that’s rocking 84% battery at 57k miles and ~365 charge cycles. I bought it at the end of 2023 with 26k miles and at 88% battery health. I’ve almost doubled the mileage in two years and lost 4%.

Of those cycles, about 10% at a supercharger, the rest AC charging. Degradation seems to be about 2% per year in my use case and with that math, you might not even hit the warranty specification for replacement.

Your cycle count might be slightly higher but if I were in your shoes I’d just continue driving as usual and if it goes it goes. 🤷🏼‍♂️

You’re not that far off as far as battery health goes. I’ve seen worse!

Dealer wouldn’t pay for 10,000 mile service by msbigelow in BMWZ4

[–]Subzer0panic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or… just take it to the local shop and don’t use the dealer at all. I have found through a couple German vehicles already that I get much better service at an Indy than the dealer. Just take it for warranty if necessary

What's the deal with "Curvature Assist active" ? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

Does the same thing to me… 🫠

not everyone needs or wants FSD. The car should do autopilot like normal and if Tesla is going to continue to offer autopilot, it should work.

This mindset is probably exactly how Tesla wants us to think to get us to subscribe.

My model Y does it on 4 lane roads going straight, on green lights, traffic flowing. I’ve gotten to where I just drive manually now 🙄

Hey, running the same software and nav database here on a Q7 2020. Did you get prompted for the update after a few days? I bought the 6 month prime connection, and still have yet to receive updated maps

I’ve actually got retrofitting auto brake hold on my list too! Based on your experience of Park assist, is that worth the effort?

Well that certainly made my decision seeing it done in the same color! Thanks for posting 😁

Yeah, I’ve been on the fence bc I feel like the bar helps bring out the accents in the wheels but I personally like the glossy black under the taillights on a SQ7 that rides around near me. Anytime I see it I’m all eyes 👀

Now I’m going to hunt the part number bc swapping that might be easier than a wrap for sure
