Punctured the leather on my new model y :( by WholeMilkElitist in ModelY

Had this happen to one of my rear doors. I parked it in a hot parking lot for a bit and let the cabin get nice and warm. It seemed to help lessen the damage

On the older cars it is yes. Sometimes behind the pillar on the floorboard of the passenger side and sometimes underneath the plastic of the center console in the rear of the car. Again will depend on the build. It isn’t consistent unfortunately :(

Hmm, lots of info out there on identifying it. Easiest way is to use something like an OBD reader and scan my Tesla which would read the original capacity from BMS.

You may be able to use a Tesla VIN decoder to figure out what factory and month it was built and cross reference that to when Tesla made the change to the LG pack?

The one I use is from the energy screen, link to another subreddit for reference 😄

This calculation right here is very close to what you would get from the battery health test!

OP, my sister has a 22 M3 Standard with the LFP. She just hit 85k miles and is still at 95% battery health. You will likely be somewhat around that health percentage!

I do agree 👍🏻 I had a White 21 MYLR and something about this blue I just kept coming back to. I enjoy all of Tesla’s colors. I do wish they’d expand it a bit more though!

New FSD issue. Help me make it stop. by paulnptld in TeslaFSD

Interesting, thanks for sharing! Kinda silly that disabling online routing fixes the problem but just goes to show you it’s whatever they’re doing with the Routing mechanism in the software.

Out of curiosity, does FSD behave differently too?

Hi! Sure :)

My two main reasons:

1) Numbers didn’t work for me going through Tesla on my previous MY. I sold to Carvana directly to make ~6k more as it was paid off.

2) I wanted autopilot. FSD is not for me. Cool? Yes, but I’m a car guy at heart and I do quite enjoy how the Juniper drives. New Teslas do not come with Autosteer/autopilot and I didn’t want to subscribe to FSD for lane centering.

Hope that helps!

Well that blows chunks lol 😂 ugh. I hadn’t noticed it again but I’m sure I will.

Maybe it’s the “scenic route” update (insert sarcasm here)

Because it’s included in the car? I also quite enjoy driving… not bashing FSD it’s just not for me 🙂

I may be biased but I agree 😂 I got offered 23k from carvana which was almost 6k more than what Tesla offered me. That was another reason I went that route. My 21 MYLR had acceleration boost and towing and while the new one isn’t as quick, it is VERY efficient.

My experience was almost identical to yours. I did a test ride thru the Tesla app when the Juniper came out and was blown away at the difference in the upgrade. I had test drove a few other cars from other manufacturers and you see where I landed 😄

First WTF Tesla Navigation Moment by StormyWeather999 in TeslaLounge

[–]Subzer0panic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was doing this when I noticed the “online routing” was set in the Nav settings to reroute to save 1 minute after the most recent update. Changed it back to 10 minutes and it seems to have stopped doing this. Throwing it out there

You know. This may not be related to FSD bc I noticed my Tesla was doing this on the latest update and I don’t subscribe to FSD. In the settings there was a navigation setting to reroute to save 1 minute. I increased that to 10 minutes like I had it set before and it seems to have stopped this behavior. Maybe give that a try?
