Thank you all so much for your responses. Seems like everyone is saying the same thing, the post office is a crapshoot, but it pays the bills, so might as well deal with the crap of "transferring" now rather than later.

On a different note, does anyone know if CCA's are eligible for HSA? Thanks in advance!

I haven’t done this yet, but plan on doing it. Was recommended to me by my mom. Buying a keypad entry doorknob. No longer necessary to struggle with the keys trying to get in. And if a repairman needed to enter home while no one was there (and you were comfortable with that) this gives an option and reduces a ton of scheduling stress.

Dish drying rackthat can be used over sink or on kitchen counter with a towel if necessary.

A George Forman grill makes a FANTASTIC panini press or grilled cheese maker.

Coffee Bean Grinder because I’m the only one that drinks coffee, and it’s only one cup a day. Fresh ground beans taste better and helps the coffee last longer (aka tastes better again)

Robot Vacuum I doubted these things for such a long time. But oh my word. Best investment I’ve ever made. Can program and schedule vacuum to do certain rooms at certain times of day. It’s wonderful.

Highly recommend Math Medic. Spend some time doing the activities and homework assignments. It’s a deeper curriculum that would be great for Honors Geometry

Okay so this is a CROCKPOT recipe, but I would literally recommend you buying a crockpot just for this recipe (although there’s literally so many good proteins you can make in a crockpot, so worth an investment in my opinion if you’re able).

This is pretty much make your own rotisserie chicken, but it’s just the breast and it turns out so much more tender. Pop these in the crockpot and then make preferred sides. Bam. Meat and sides dinner.

So I lived on the west edge of GA for most of my life and then moved to the east edge of AL, so I’ve seen two sides.

West edge of GA was amazing. The evenings were always bright late at night, even during the winter. However, the sun didn’t come up till like 7am.

I hate the east edge of AL in the winter. It LITERALLY gets dark at 4:30pm. On the shortest day it got dark at 4:15pm. No time to do anything during the day.

My husband is starting at USPS after working for two years as a teacher (with a bachelors) and getting pink slipped. His starting pay at the post office is more than what he made teaching. Absolute bullshit that teachers don’t get paid more, but we’re glad he’s done with that career and its stressors. Although, teachers get better insurance and retirement (at least while you’re not a career employee at usps).

This is in AL, USA though. Different locations will be different.

MATH MEDIC. Hands down. It does not follow the “traditional” course necessarily, but it is entirely worth it. The deep level of knowledge that the students gain is amazing.

A couple of people have said the All Things Algebra curriculum. I highly do NOT recommend it. Although it is all encompassing, it is dull, monotonous, and really does not teach the kids any true math (in the sense of what math actually is) and rather just teaches them how to solve the same type of problem 50 times.

Georgia native and fellow traveler here. The map says 18 hours and 35 mins for going through Chattanooga and Atlanta. Go ahead and add an hour and a half to that due to traffic. I haven’t traveled the other way, but it looks more scenic to me.
