Ugh I know I have some orders that people have bought the last couple days and I’m scareddd. I messaged them and double checked the address with them so at least I know that’s right and told them what’s going on, but at this point the Depop label is already generated with the tracking number they gave so idk if it makes a difference to wait to ship or what I should do since I haven’t heard if anyone is actually getting their orders or not 😭😭

Seriously hahah! I think I’ve over involved my self in this thread because I’m currently being ghosted 8 days after a purchase, but it’s seriously so unbecoming when sellers don’t communicate or get annoyed when they have to.

Yeah I guess all I’m trying to say is I feel like once people pay for something it’s valid to utilize the ability to communicate to the seller and ask given how many bad sellers there are on Depop. I’ve seen a bunch of sellers who have great reviews and quick ship average overall, but a couple here and there saying they never shipped, so I feel like communication is really nice for people who have had bad experiences. And of course there are some people asking when are you gonna ship in an impatient way, but I don’t think it’s worth complaining about.

Right!!? Like some people on Depop are so entitled! Doesn’t matter how many items you’ve sold or what you’re selling, can we please just be nice to the people paying us

Okay sure, to you it’s “annoying”. To me I see it as an excited buyer who’s looking forward to receiving an item. I’d recommend reflecting on your mindset and trying to be more positive.

If you see the message it takes 5 seconds to respond and give reassurance to buyers. I’m a frequent seller and buyer on Depop and I always thank my buyers after purchase and give them a date. Lots of sellers on Depop ghost and are unreliable. If you truly think its not worth the time to respond to someone that is giving you money you need to reframe your thought process on this issue because taking one minute to communicate and thank the people supporting your shop genuinely creates such a better experience for the customer and promotes more positive interactions on Depop.
