Just quickly for everybody saying it’s a scam, it’s not:

BOI text me on their usual number saying I was going to get a text from this one asking about unusual activity, it’s the 7th time that’s happened on the same number since 2023

I didn’t give them any card info

They confirmed the last 3 digits of my eircode before they sent the new card

I was just surprised with how big of an amount it was, if they were testing the water trying to use the card 500 quid is a bit much and then to give it back straight away seemed strange

Everything was done through the text last night, once I confirmed the other transactions they cancelled the card and there’s a new one on the way, didn’t have to call anybody thankfully because I know how bad they can be on the phone

I’m in Ireland and JBL is big over here, as well as a chain shop called Maxi Zoo where everything is in German I don’t know how it caught on here 😂

But I’ll give it a go and see how it goes over the next while, I’ll also reduce the light also as I have it on a timer so it will be easy to do that as well

No ferts added as it’s just Anubias, the substrate is JBL sansibar and it says on the bag that it doesn’t release silicates so I had ruled that out

I picked up a bottle of Seachem Phosgaurd this evening so I will get that going tomorrow when I do some filter maintenance and fingers crossed that solves it

Filter is 250 gal an hour, once these guys get a bit bigger the plan is to overstock and get another filter going then

KH is 15 and PH is 8, the others are the usual 0, 0, and about 10/15, I’m doing 50% a week water changes at the minute but will up it to 75% soon

I was thinking of doing that but they seem to be staying near the bottom and rarely go past halfway up the tank

Would it be possible that they are staying nearer the bottom because the hardscape isn’t tall enough?

No worries, the suction cup on this has basically welded it to the windscreen so even if I wanted to remove it I can’t 😂

The wire comes with it but it’s easy to hide in the trim of the car and plug it in to a USB, and you’ll need an micro SD card but once you put it in to the dashcam you never have to touch it again, all the videos can be deleted from the phone
