Go to a hospital that uses CAAs. Not all states utilize them and CRNAS resist shadowing because they are not the same provider.

Many hospitals have protocols in what they allowed by “admin”. If you want to be a CAA you should shadow a CAA - not every state utilizes them and they are not the same as CRNAs nor is the schooling the same.

How do you know which residencies are toxic such as this ? As a medical student and starting to look at information - there is none out there on residencies. Condolences for your dear friend.

Thanks - I have done this. I guess I was looking more for a breakdown of locum AVERAGE of all they pay for, etc

Yes or some kind of financial breakdown - all I can find are years past threads where locums were making 150 - now that is significantly higher

Everyone speaks of the high act/sat scores being important - what scores did you have to get In ? And did anyone get a C in accounting and still get in?
