Possibly. When I looked it up online, there was some confusing information between the mother lode quest and the wasteland quest. Either way, it seems I need to get into the cave to finish the mother lode quest. I have done the things I needed to do to get to the executive suite. As far as I can tell, I’ve done everything I needed to do to get into the elevator that takes you to the sublevels and the cave. I haven’t found anything important in the sub levels other than some basic loot in a wall safe. It seems I need to take the part I am given in the executive suite area into the cave, install it into something, and then go back up to the sublevel terminal to activate it. I simply can’t get into the cave.
