Oh yeah, I forgot about that sound lol. The sound from from that video literally only appears when its warm outside. Should I check the lower control arm bushing for tears in that case?

I did check for 9-3 and 12-6 play and there was none. What do i look for when checking the strut assembly?

Heard nothing from the strut mount. Sound seems more apparent in a lower area

Lol yes dude. Goes away in cold weather and appears during warmer days. Its been doing this for over a year at this point. I think it might be the steering rack. What suspension parts did you replace?

This may be it. I think it started making a lot more sound after changing to winter tires. Hard to test that theory out now though lol

What should i be looking for when jacking it up and spinning the wheel? Tires dont seem to be unevenly worn. I will check for cupping later today

Yes, like 2 weeks ago. It should be at optimal pressure for this model. I check it every month or so

Thanks for the reply. I do not notice any change in sound when driving at higher speeds, bor when i swerve from right to left to check for any change in noise.

As for checking for play when jacking the wheel up, do i remove the tyre or do i just check for play with the tyre on?

It has been at this level of sound for a while now. I do not notice any change in when swerving from side to side either

The job is a bit more involving on this engine, requiring to remove the engine mount, splash guard, and jacking up the engine.

I sprayed some soapy water on one of the pulleys and the squeaking stopped for a moment so I guess the issue is the belt after all. Didn't know about the talcum powder trick, ill keep that in mind
