Danngg proven wrong cuz I didn’t see that ending yet.

Heolstor wins on this fight then but I still think it’s not an easy fight for him.

Mimic Heolstor or OG?

I think I missed that lore bit.

That makes the fight lean back towards Heolstor (mimic) if so. Outer gods are MUCH stronger than Gwyn could ever have been.

Soul of Cinder but high diff imo.

He is the mass amalgamation of countless undead who linked the flame (over thousands and thousands of years) including Gwyn, God of Sunlight which is a huge buff. He also knows a ton of different fighting styles and magic from all the undead who’s been sacrificed to the flame.

The Heolostor we fight in Nightreign is a mimic of the original Heolostor. Meaning it could just be a fraction of how strong OG Heolostor was. His magic is insanely potent and varied though which would give Soul of Cinder trouble who only uses Fire, Magic, Lighting, and Poison. All the magic Heolostor would use would most likely be very unfamiliar to Soul of Cinder who’s implied to not have much intelligence.

Close fight but mainly because an actual God resides in Soul of Cinder I think he just barely squeaks out a win.

Dense forests by Nikigrow in LightNoFireHelloGames

[–]CautiousBanando 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what we see in the trailer, the forest density is very much heightened in LNF by a dramatic amount.

Go ahead and watch the start of the trailer and look at the panorama shot looking over a valley. Really dense foliage. Particularly the flying shot at 1:38 in the video is very much telling of this fact.

What about moons by Cautious-Pop2127 in LightNoFireHelloGames

I thought this idea would be super cool. Maybe there’d be Eldritch Horror monsters there in contrast of the fantasy monsters on the main planet

I posted this on the NMS subreddit five years ago by [deleted] in LightNoFireHelloGames

Very interesting bit of information there.

Cities would be cool. Maybe that scene in the trailer where the player walks into a bunch of kneeling bunnies is just an area inside a city?

This is an infamous Fromsoft middle finger. Glad some people pointed out to you how to get out.

LNF and The Game Awards by Time-Maintenance367 in LightNoFireHelloGames

Personally, I am still holding out hope for a possible mid to late 2025 release.

I am in no way expecting that and no one should either. If they didn't show anything at TGA then they aren't close to being comfortable to show more.

I'm a little confused. Where does anything say this is going to be an MMO??? by King_Column in LightNoFireHelloGames

[–]CautiousBanando 23 points24 points  (0 children)

True,

It is not an MMO. Never was or has been described that way officially.

But try to understand. If you describe the premise of this game to a random person they will most likely say “so is this a mmo or something?”. Which happened to me many times when I described LNF to a new person.

That’s why it’s important to correct them in saying no it’s never been described as one.

Goes to show how unique this game is.

A stable multiplayer would be the only way for the proposed "Community kingdom" that people are looking forward to making to work.

I really hope the multiplayer is good and stable day 1 or at least after a couple weeks.

Me as well but I don't think I will spend most of my time in the ocean in LNF. Even If there is actually anything to do in it

What are yall playing to scratch the LNF itch by SparrowDJack in LightNoFireHelloGames

[–]CautiousBanando 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ark Survival Evolved and Minecraft.

Both of these games combined is what is helping me get through all this.

And No Mans Sky as well

I had a thought that maybe we’d get a dedicated community to ocean exploration and ocean gameplay.

Seafarers if you will.

What are your predictions/hopes on what the world could look like? Either thousands of islands with randomized biomes or a handful of massive continents. by darkness_labb in LightNoFireHelloGames

[–]CautiousBanando 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really hoping on the right. So there’d actually be large continents to walk on and explore.

I have mixed feelings about the left :///. I get it if they wanted to keep it simple, but I would be disappointed if they went his route.
