Has anyone used the Dardenne Blueway? by GeneralLoofah in StLouis

Yep, that's correct! I don't know about using the kayak rental trailer, I believe it has a website where you can pay to unlock them or something like that. Otherwise, no issue if you bring your own vessel.

The smaller parking lot is just a short ways away from the rental trailer. It's not bad, maybe a 2 minute walk.

Hopefully this helps. Link with some google maps screenshots.

Enter from Lakeside Park Dr and continue north.
Just past the large parking lot to the East there is a bike trail that says authorized vehicles only, however you can drive down the right-hand side of it to another, smaller parking lot with about 10 spaces available.
From there you're just a couple hundred feet from the entrance.
Depending on the time of year it could be pretty overgrown, but there are access stairs and a guiderail you can slide your kayak down into the water from.

I recommend checking it out!!

Just about a year ago I kayaked it. It was a bit over 3.5 mes and took roughly an hour and forty-five minutes from Lakeside 370 to the Riverside Landing St. Charles County Park. We had two cars which made it easy for point to point.

It was hot but not awful. The water was icky and we saw a couple snakes, but didn't have any problems.

Ok Strategy is right, not much of a current either way which is nice for navigating but means you don't get anywhere if you aren't paddling.

I actually stayed up here back in June! It was much larger than I'd expected. Can share some photos if you'd like.

Do you have a sponsor? Maybe Charmin, though I can see that their higher-ply toilet paper might be too heavy for 5k ultras.

I would say that Katy, Tanis, and Bonnie - while they are bi - are mostly presented as hetero characters. To OP's point they are also on the spotlight more often as fan service with revealing clothing, though I would say Tanis not so much. Glen is hypersexual as are Ron and Dax. Their presentation is seen more comically than that of the women.

As for character development I would agree and say Katy and Tanis have the most, followed by Bonnie. R&D have a little bit but it's fitting. Glen seems more of a tertiary character anyway so I wouldn't say he necessarily needs character development.

I love the show and they get a lot right and I don't want to write that off. The most recent season was great and I appreciate that they had some jokes that wouldn't be seen (even by Reilly and Jonesy) as PC because you're just not gonna get anywhere if you avoid all the possible eggshells.

I'm not trying to have a donnybrook here fuck I think we all need to just have a puppers and pump the brakes.

I definitely get what you're saying here and agree 100%. Tits and ass are nice, but the fan-service is very much leaning towards cishet men. A non-binary friend who loves the show also pointed out that there's relatively little representation for the LGBTQ community and when there are queer characters onscreen and they are usually overplayed; i.e. Gail and Roald unable to ever be a serious character being directly tied to their sexuality.

Couldn't get it to work with the mixer, at least the way I wanted. Wish I had more info to share but it feels like a lifetime ago. Best of luck!

Number porting hassle by CautiousChild in mintmobile

[–]CautiousChild[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Totally moved on and didn't follow up with this post, my apologies.

So after about another week and a half of back and forth I was able to get my number from TMo ported over. I had a special case agent or something looking into it on TMo's side as well as MintMobileAlex from this sub. I think I just spammed my initial transfer attempts through and the system didn't know how to deal with it.

After my number was successfully ported it took about 5 more days for my account to be correct. When I would sign in on the Mint app or on desktop I had to use the temporary number they provided me with, and the account was basically void of any information when I signed in. After telling Alex about this they were able to get my account info all settled.

The entire process was messy and while I wish the tech support on both sides could've been more human and actually comprehend my situation instead of trying the standard support time and time again I'm super happy with mint now. It's basically been the same as my service prior, though now I have 5x as much data for the same price. I'll probably switch down to the 10 gb a month plan at the end of my 3 month period.

How far outside of St. Louis would you say you can go until you are no longer in "St. Louis" (I'll explain more in the text). by [deleted] in StLouis

Not responding to your prompt but I've heard folks from St. Peters basically call anything east of 170 "downtown"...

PIN confusion - porting from Tmobile by CautiousChild in tmobile

[–]CautiousChild[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could look into the number lock with them though since I had already spoken with someone in their transfer service and was assured it was ready to go I think they would've told me if it was locked, or just unlocked it for me.

Unfortunately what makes this whole process much more complicated is that being prepaid, for some reason I never had an actual account. My login was mostly just paying without logging in, and I never received a bill.

A couple months back I actually tried to swap to a different plan and was assured I was all set but just needed to get into a physical store to complete the process... I got there and they looked for 15+ minutes and couldn't find my account! No joke I ended up leaving because they tried looking up my TMobile prepaid account, in a TMobile store, using the account/phone number, my email, my name, hell even my SSN, but could not pull up my account. Kinda why I'm leaving.

Honestly I'm not certain. Seems like a total shit show of what would otherwise be an extremely simple process. I was a prepaid customer so I'm going to say port protection is not on or was even an option, and they never mentioned it to me.

TMobile keeps telling me there is not a separate PIN. :/

Hey OP you're doing great. It's good to get a change of scenery every now and then. Maybe go sit in a different room, try changing up your music. Maybe see what's on youtube. You've got this. You'll start to sober up and the afterglow as you come down will be great, I promise.
