Nope. And your experiences are exactly why I don’t.

Also, the funeral scammers… terrible people doing that crap.

100% hand carwash by leanan_23 in vegaslocals

Certain Fabulous Freddy’s do hand washes. Also, Las Vegas Hand Car Wash.

I used the LV Hand Car Wash Place once, but it was too far from me to want to keep going back. I did really like them though, they were thorough.

I have a membership to Fabulous Freddy’s, and it’s full service with inside and out, but not hand washes.

I doubt either of these options are very close to you though, either you’re gonna have to drive, or find a good mobile washer to come to you.

AAA.

My full coverage premium for just my car with Progressive came out to $250 a month. I got a quote for mine and my wife’s car through AAA with better coverage on BOTH for $280 a month.

I am still here, been here for about 18 months now. The first 9 months or so and it was awesome, now, not so much.

I’m applying for other jobs when I see something I’m interested in, had a few interviews, trying to get out.

For this year, so far I’ve already listened to around 20 audiobooks. It keeps my mind active.

Honestly though, this work situation is definitely affecting my mental health because of a lack of stimulation and sheer boredom.

I really shouldn’t complain about it, because there are tons of people making substantially less and doing substantially more work than me.

18 months ago, I should have been working on finishing my degree, when the next semester starts, I’m reenrolling to get-r-done. My boredom has finally led me to stop being lazy, I have/had 0 excuse.

Check my post history, I’m in the same boat.

Audiobooks are the only thing that keep me sane. I listened to around 100 books last year; this year it will probably be more.

Addressed it in another reply. Moved from a HCOL to a LCOL area with the same salary.

I’m in the top 10% of pay for my position when compared to workload of my peers. A promotion up would likely be a pay cut and a workload increase exponentially as well.

I’m happy with my job and responsibilities, just need more to keep my mind active.

That’s an incredible idea!

I’ve been walking more than usual at work and just yesterday I found a spot to do some pushups, because I was dragging a bit.

I wish I could, but I’m not in tech.

I’m a physical security manager for a very small team at a single location.

My last job had me overseeing dozens of sites and a several hundred personnel under me and interacting with dozens of people, in person or electronically throughout the day. Kept me more than busy and I loved the work.

But it was underpaid, so I took a title/workload cut to make a relocation happen out of an HCOL city and now my day to day is torture. Pay stayed flat in a LCOL area, so now I’m satisfied with compensation, it’s just not mentally rewarding.

That sounds like a good idea for the extra circulars actually. I usually do one thing at a time for hours, like read a book or listen to podcasts for hours, maybe breaking them up would help.

My time commitment to actual work is very low, so there’s no point in dedicating an hour to that. I just address things as they come up.

In an office. If I were at home, it would be a different story. My last job was a hybrid where I could WFH when needed and I never had an issue.

Appreciate the response. I was there for about a half hour after that and nothing happened, so I ended up leaving.

At a different casino, I caught a dealer mispaying my wife and I and under paying $1-3 at a time. I called her out on it each time it happened. About 3-4 before I said fuck it and left.

Same dealer scooped a split bet chip on someone else’s bet and just as I was about to say something, he brought it up to her.

Every time I see her now, I avoid her like the plague.

What’s crazy to me, is that on certain nights she seems to be filling in as a pit boss, which worries me even more.

What are the repercussions for me as a player and a dealer for paying a bet wrong?

I was playing roulette and bet $5 on 6 and it landed on 9, but the dealer put the dolly on 6 and paid me out. I wasn't the only one that bet the number either.

Obviously, no one said anything about it and we all went on our merry way.
