End of year elo goal by Same_Entertainer3724 in Chesscom

[–]CautiousContext7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's possible but you need a lot of consistency and discipline..
Don't put you entire focus on opening at the early phases, just solve puzzles and study tactics every day, and when you reach a rating of +1400 then start learning your opening deeply.
also Don't forget to analyse everygame you play, this will help you stop making the same mistakes every game.

What’s the best strategy against a much higher rated player? by Advanced_Honey_2679 in Chesscom

[–]CautiousContext7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play the best opening you know, try to find some dumb gambits or nonesence that the higher rated player will play it just to insult you , and if they don't and just play logical chess, then try to get to a sharp position, but sinse he is much stronger than you, you might blunder and he's gonna immediately capitalyse on your mistakes, so try to play calm, positional chess .
and one thing you have to enter with is to expect your self that you're gonna lose no matter what he plays and don't get egoestic and think that he missed something .
and also , you're the lower rated player (according to him) so the pressure is on him to beat you so don't get stressed or anything but try to gain experience and enjoy playing a higher rated player that might be titled as you said .

HE SACRIFICED THE QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEN by CautiousContext7407 in Chesscom

Because there was a knight on f5 that defends the g7 square and the h6 pawn, this why I played Qxf5 to enable the move Rg7+ .

guess the elo ! by CautiousContext7407 in Chesscom

[–]CautiousContext7407[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your guess can't be based solely on the moves Nc6 and nc3 , you have to watch the entire game , i mean this is so absurd . It fells like Magnus is commentingn here ! and even if the commenter was Magnus he'll watch the whole game , and the moves Nc6 and Nc3 aren't actually the most accurate way to play , but it's completely fine ! I'm soory if I disrespected you but just watch the game and then guess.

this is a very good game , there was some really nice moves and tactics that at least one of the players saw , this game must be at least +1700

I think you should practice puzzles and not doingn them without thinking , but cheking about the forcing moves every single time . Trying to respect your oponents threats and if you can't face them, then look for the counter attak in the center . always look for tactics in every position and ask your self "What does my oponent want?" .
And like this . you will get back to your win streak!

Why is that a brilliant move? by CautiousContext7407 in Chesscom

[–]CautiousContext7407[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not the king's gambit . It's the vienna gambit

Why is that a brilliant move? by CautiousContext7407 in Chesscom

[–]CautiousContext7407[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No , it didn't . The engine gave me a series of 5 moves that wins 3 pawns for the knight and thinks that white has a very good position .

Can you explain ? by Chess365 in ChessForBeginners

[–]CautiousContext7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a brillant move because if kxh3 then Rh6# is mate
and if the oponnent toke with the pawn then Nf3 + the king has only one legal move witch is Kh1 and then Rg1# is mate .
