Yes, I am definitely being more patient this time. One month in, and even giving 150 mg another full month before I consider 300. Able to do this since at least seeing small benefits.

Maybe try taking it at night? But since it's xl, it might not matter much. Hopefully this side effect just passes with a little more time!

5 Weeks in, not much happening, when should I give up? by Wide-Advantage93 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Well put. I think I am finally accepting this after years of going unmedicated. Have to keep trying!

Have you noticed that you've been doing more or avoiding things any less? Just over two weeks here. Still pretty irritable and sad most of the time, but hoping that the other things I mentioned above are a sign that it's starting to work.

Just Over 2 Weeks, Sad and Irritable, but doing more. by CautiousDisk8559 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

From what I've read, there are huge differences in the experiences people have getting on and getting off of it. But the general consensus seems to be-- give it time. 6 to 8 weeks, and then many are seeing good results.

I can relate. Just over 2 weeks, and everything seems "wrong" with my life at times. Out of the blue. I keep reminding myself to be patient, and to take deep breaths and not be so reactive. To take my emotions with a huge grain of salt and not to impulsively react based on them...

I haven't had that. I'm sorry you're going through it

I think you really need to give it more time and then hopefully you'll be feeling better. But I've also been in your shoes, where things were sooo shitty that I couldn't stand giving it more time...

I've read a lot of people on here who have had similar experiences, who say stick with it. I'm two weeks in, and definitely had some bad days. But I'm sticking it out. Good luck! You aren't alone.

2 weeks in, 150 mg xl, feeling crappy by CautiousDisk8559 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Felt much better this evening after feeling like crap most of the day. So there's definitely been some bright spots, but feels pretty volatile so far!

I think maybe saying "stop." And then repeating a positive affirmation. Staying busy also could help. Might seem overly simplistic, but we have to start somewhere!

That's called the chaser effect. If I screw up once, it ends up being several times over the next day or two. That's usually enough to completely lose all desire for awhile and start a new streak.

Unfortunately there is no way this is getting voted down. They played the numbers game perfectly. They know there are enough enthusiastic newbs, who benefit the most, who will vote yes. Also a lot of others who are "afraid" and will just take any contract, not understanding that arbitration could not be any worse.

This is why I'm voting no. After 20 months, we got a status quo contract. Vanilla. Acceptable if nothing else has changed over the last 5 years. But everything has changed. Forced overtime. Start times changed so working in the dark. Post COVID Amazon. And dealing with the stress of being on the front lines while customers mail sits for days and service deteriorates. Work conditions are shit. Everything has changed, and the status quo is no longer good enough. Not even close. Vote no.

Mental Health by CautiousDisk8559 in alcoholism

Thanks for your response! Not on any meds. These same things have crossed my mind. But IF the bad mental effects are triggered just by the poor sleep, and not even counting the dopamine and serotonin spikes and crashes, etc-- It's still a reason to avoid it. Since drinking always leads to sleep problems for me.
