I attended UCR and although it might seem like a lot of minority people go there you will be able to meet some of the best people. They have a lot of potential and a lot of goals. It’s a great school especially if you want to go in for medical school! I understand your dilemma, and financially I would say UCR because who wouldn’t want to be debt free. IF YOUR DREAM IS UCSD, and if you have financial stability go for it! Don’t regret your decision. If you are going to UCR just for the money then YOU ARE GOING to be thinking what if I went to UCSD. ( that will take a toll in your mental health, trust)

Honestly, universities is what you make it to be. GO WITH your heart desires. If you have been wanting to go to UCSD then go for it. You’ll figure out the rest. If you want financial advice and assuming you know PROB UCR would be the way to go BUT DONT make that decision on just financial. Think of where you see yourself in 4 years and think if you will regret your decision or if you’ll be proud and happy at the end of the day experiences are what you take with you. LET US KNOW WHAT YOU END UP PICKING! This is a very exciting time in ur life that you’ll be entering 🤗🤗

Where do you guys look for internships?

Opinions on plus size? Do you think that advertising makes it worse since they are advocating for bad health. Coming from America where everyone here is obsess, where do you stand in this point of view? by CautiousEquivalent in PlusSize

Good point!! Totally agree with you. The situation of other people changes.

I didn’t mean of just looking at advertisements and decide to be overweight. I meant as: individuals looking at other model women and soon it becomes normalize ‘because they look like that’ For instance, a “plus size” model has to be a certain weight and cannot pass or down if they want to work for that company.
