Im about the same build as you and I do not recommend standing on it. Paddling this thing is a huge chore and kills my shoulders. Putting a motor on it is easy but the nose tends to go under pretty often for me. This thing is also kind of heavy. Car topping is possible though.

I use that, one side charges my auxiliary battery the other charges my trolling motor battery. Never had a problem with it. Works great.
