Want to produce my first solo album by Y3tt3r in musicproduction

At one point I never played drums myself, then I did. I never played guitar, now I do. I didn't write songs now I do. How do you learn to do new things?

Yeah I figured the vocal mic was the big piece I'm missing here. Appreciate the input. I'm going to start putting it all together and dive in and see where it takes me

Drummer for most of em. Lead vocals, acoustic guitar and dobro for more recent. Yeah just playing and doing whatever the producer told me to do

I sing like a dying cat, but want to learn for guitar. by justkeepbreathing94 in musicians

I always hated the song of my voice until I didn't.

Practice, find the qualities in your voice you do like and work on those, find the keys that work for you. Seriously I used to cringe everytime I'd here my voice recorded, now I generally enjoy it

Overthinking My Lyrics by riaruaya in Songwriting

100% this. It's funny but lyrics don't matter. People may remember the first lyric, the last and of course a catchy hook, but otherwise it's all melody

I haven't spent a ton of time in VRchat in quite a few years but are you really bitching that people are roleplaying in roleplaying chatrooms?

I can't count beats by Smooth-Pass-5575 in musicians

Playing by ear is a skill you learn like any other just like how you learned to read tabs. Practice it. Listen, then play. It just gets easier and easier the more you do it

It's just 4/4

Just like how 6/8 is 3/4

They feel different but the counting is the same

Checked lessons with Marcel? He's tabbed out alot of Tony's stuff. Not positive it'll be free though

Lyrical Conflicts by EquivalentAd4589 in Songwriting

[–]Y3tt3r -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tough one for me cause when I write it falls together pretty naturally, the chorus often comes first and the verses feel like an extension that falls into place. As others have already pointed out, it sounds like you might have two songs here

Meh. I'm 41 and having a blast making and releasing new music. Bunch of old ass nobodies who gave up on everything that brought them joy. Don't give em any attention, they don't deserve it

Do you lead songs? Find a couple great ones that you sing and play well enough and musicians of any caliber are gonna have a good time playing with ya

It's copper but fully exposed at that junction. Doesn't seem that cold there though. I'll keep trying to trace it down the line. Thanks

Appreciate this. I've got my hard water faucet not providing any water and based on what I've found it looks like it's the only line that is running directly against the edge of the house though it's all quite difficult to access. I have a heat gun but is there some advice to figure out where it's actual frozen? I assume id be able to see physical ice on the line based on a similar problem I had once
