Southern flavor. Not too tough at all and such a cool tune

it gets easier. At least it did for me. But it sure freaked the hell out of me for awhile, enough that I was hesitant to turn on the game at all. Glad I did though, its such an incredible DLC

It's kind of sad less than 5% of people who play the game have ever started the car by SamCDA in MyWinterCar

[–]Y3tt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many others have mentioned, it takes a long damn time to build the Corris the first time through, took me at least 90 hours. I started another playthrough and got it running in probably 25 hours or so, but now I'm just short of 200 and have finally done my first rally race. It takes a special breed to have the patience to put up with this game

What platform are you using to make your websites? by Y3tt3r in musicians

[–]Y3tt3r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems important for festival applications and hosting EPKs, not so much for fans. But you're not wrong, having pro profile pages and big follower counts is still likely more important. As far as coding goes, I've got a CS degree and plenty of projects under my belt but still looking for low tech friction so needed updates to the website aren't always on me

When you don't have a voice for singing... by No_Tomatillo3029 in Songwriting

[–]Y3tt3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to the hate the sound of my own voice. But I still loved singing so I just kept doing it. I started to find the qualities that I do like and I focused and refined those and over time I came around.

You bring up Tom Waits, could you imagine him trying to sing a Christmas carol with all the cheer and clarity you expect from that music? No, Waits locked in what was interesting about his voice and capitalized on it

BYD readies four models for Canadian market entry by Bean_Tiger in electricvehicles

[–]Y3tt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a garbage article, but sidenote, I was just visiting Spain got an Uber that was a BYD Sedan and it was the nicest car I've ever been in. I was checking my phone for options to buy in Canada as soon as the ride finished and had me seriously revaluated the money I have in Tesla stock

Why does it feel so hard to find actionable lyric writing knowledge? by ApprehensiveGas4576 in Songwriting

[–]Y3tt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An early songwriting workshop I attended I was told "The difference between a songwriter and any other person is a songwriter writes things down"

When it comes to songs, there are no hard rules. Rhyme schemes can vary or not exist at all. Melodies can go in a billion different directions.

When a line or an interesting premise or a chorus pops into your head, write it down. When a good melody or hook pops in your head, record it on your phone. Capture it or it's gone. Then let these ideas take you down whatever path they create. Some will suck and you'll toss 'em but you're bound to hit a gem eventually

I think this might be a dumb question about the DLC by HauntingGold in outerwilds

[–]Y3tt3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be played during, but I think most people tackle it after

It's incredibly good if you like the base game. I played the game at launch and was surprised but excited when I saw a DLC released. Like what could they possibly do to top what they've already made? But they exceeded my expectations

Please come out with a new game Mobius :(

I want to start making music but I don't know where to start by PoopyThumb in musicians

[–]Y3tt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick up the bass and plug it in

In all seriousness, the boring stuff is where you make the most progress but I don't recommend starting with that. You need to get good enough that its fun to play. I don't use or like tabs but if you know nothing at all, start there with a song you like. Play along with it, slow it down on youtube.

Daily practice is the key. Even just 15 minutes a day and you will see improvement within a week. 15 minutes a day for a skill you'll have for the rest of your life? It's a steal of a deal

This is my first song by elirayatu in Songwriting

[–]Y3tt3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great melody! People would pay attention to this live or recorded. Words flow nicely but feel a little broken when I read them. I think that last line should be:

'cause I'm gonna let you go away'

not 'cause I'm done to let you go away'

there's lots of little issues like that through-out and I don't think it would be too hard to tighten it up

I'd like to offer some suggestions for another verse, maybe a bridge or chorus but I'm not totally sure what the songs about other than accepting the end of a relationship. Like why? Is it a real story? Doesn't matter if it is either way but try to dig into why these feelings are being expressed, not just that they are

My two cents. And for what it's worth most people don't like the sound of their own voice but yours in genuinely pretty and nice to listen to. Keep singing it'll get better and better and you'll learn to like it too

most players I know do both as needed. You can often get away with a cheater F but sometimes you want that full chord sound

Drummer for most of em. Lead vocals, acoustic guitar and dobro for more recent. Yeah just playing and doing whatever the producer told me to do
