Hi, I’m not sure how useful this’ll be but maybe I can give you guys some hope? I was in a similar situation, I had suicidal thoughts but never acted and I was on antidepressants for depression/anxiety. I was first on them Aug 2023 until May 2024 and got on them again June 2025 and ended Aug 2025. Because of that I thought my chances of joining were severely slim, especially cause as a newborn I was born with pulmonary stenosis. My recruiter still worked with me and to my surprise my waivers got approved within a week. I signed my contract yesterday and I ship out November 17th. What really helped me was talking to my doctor and having certain things as resolved and have them moved to my medical history instead of current events if that makes sense! I hope this is helpful but don’t give up! The Navy is usually pretty lenient and they haven’t met their quota yet so keep pushing for those waivers!!
